Sourcing
Our Turkey Tail is organically cultivated in controlled environments in clean Nordic regions, including Finland. Fresh-to-dry ratio
Turkey Tail has a 1:6 fresh-to-dry ratio, meaning six parts of fresh mushroom are needed to produce one part dried mushroom. This explains how much raw mushroom material is represented once natural moisture is removed.
How much mushroom is in the tincture?
Each 50 ml bottle contains approximately 6,450 mg of dried Turkey Tail fruiting body, equivalent to around 38,700 mg of fresh mushroom. This reflects the amount of raw mushroom material used to produce the finished tincture.
Extraction process
We use a triple-extraction process combining water extraction, alcohol extraction and ultrasonic-assisted extraction. Water and alcohol are used to extract different naturally occurring compounds. Ultrasonic-assisted extraction uses sound waves to help gently break down the mushroom’s structure during processing, supporting a more complete and efficient extraction. This approach is widely used to support high bioavailability — up to 90% — by helping release naturally occurring compounds more efficiently during extraction, resulting in a more concentrated extract.
